robots may start working in vineyards soon (world news)



Robots may start working in vineyards soon. According to Decanter news article, robot tests are being conducted in Bordeaux and Portugal. Tests have started to develop in December of 2017. The robot is named "Ted" and is designed to help with soil cultivation. The robot can also help with weeding vines. Château Clerc Milon is the person in charge of the experiment. His goal is to reduce the costs of energy consumption used in traditional agriculture machinery.
