Asian countries are refusing refugees in the year 2017. Foreigners are not allowed to enter Japan. In fact, some Asian countries are preventing people from being able to live in Asian countries with certain laws. There is two sides to this story. One side, is for denying refugees to allow people to help their own race and establish identity. Having an identity makes it easier for other people to see why you are different in some way. The opposing side, is to allow refugees to enter foreign countries in order to increase productivity and human awareness. This allow people to learn how to work together and achieve a common goal for society. The current refugee problem that I will address, represents the current state of humans accepting one another in the year 2017. It also represents our love and hate that we have towards each other that has nothing to do with overall human progress. Asian countries refusing to accept refugees in their home land can cause a future with no global citizens, existing racism, and economic problems.
Japanese culture is strongly against helping refugees. Japan disagrees with the notion of helping people who are not Japanese (NowThisWorld, 2017). The people of Japan, generally believe that helping people who are not Japanese is bad (NowThisWorld, 2017). Each person should help themselves. That is Japan’s core motto (NowThisWorld, 2017). They want to help their own people first and not help any other group of people. Japan is fighting for its self-identity. Japan wants to stay Japanese. They believe that keeping people out will make Japan stay unique to the rest of the world. Japanese people want to be isolated and do not want foreigners to change their “way of life.”
Japan is very cruel towards new races entering its borders, but there is a reason behind it. Japan is going through a lot of isolated changes. Japan has a group of individuals who are completely shut ins (Unrested, 2016). In other words, men and women of Japan who refuse to leave their house (Unrested, 2016). They are depressed because of the way they are treated in the work place. It could be that Japanese people want to remain isolated, because of the disrespect going on at the work place. Maybe Japanese people feel like they are dealing with a problem that is bigger then helping other races. There also seems to be a lot of employers that treat their employees with great disrespect (Unrested, 2016). This disrespect makes people feel bitter and makes people feel like people are unimportant. Japanese people are dealing with a lot of mental abuse that can not be ignored. They do not want to deal with foreigners because they having a hard time dealing with their own people (Unrested, 2016).
Japanese people are known to be very isolated in general. Most Japanese people do not even talk to their neighbors (Al Jeezera English, 2012). They do not like being bothered with people in general. People are causing them mental pain and they feel like being isolated is the answer to curing mental abuse at jobs (Al Jeezera English, 2012). This trend of isolation is getting bigger and bigger (Al Jeezera English, 2012). Japan might become a country that is completely isolated in the year 2020 (Al Jeezera English, 2012). The citizens are feeling like all you have in this world is your self. It could be due to the abusive social structure in Japan. But, nobody is really sure of what is going on. Japan is going through a lot right now and it seems that people do not want to pretend anymore. That is the way the people in Japan feel and want to express openly (Al Jeezera English, 2012).
Maybe Japan and other countries have a reason to isolate themselves from everybody. Maybe on the surface everything is pretty that way. But, the reality is that everything is falling a part. People are starting think that the world is full of lies. People do not practice what they preach. Japan culture is a group who only trust people that act towards what they say. They do not want to be around people who do not do and say the same thing (Al Jeezera English, 2012). People feel like this all over the world. The world is getting tired of dealing with the mental abuse of the world. In some ways, I would agree with Japan being a bit racist because of the problems already occurring in Japan.
Self-identity might be important. Some people might feel that being a part of something or being true to your self is most important. If someone just does what everybody else does. One can lose track of who they are. They can lose track of what they want to do in life. Sometimes, we get caught up in money that we forget who we are or what we want to change. We humans do not know what we want all the time. But, we do know when it is time to change and do something about it. When that time comes, action must be taken. Self-identity is connected to people wanting to connect something to who they really are or believe they should be. People are not going to like self-identity people. But, people need to understand that some people need self-identity to feel alive.
Is self-identity really important? There are many people who believe that being different is important. I personally believe one should be different, but one should always try to do better in one’s life as well. Sometimes, people are so caught up in self-identity that they do not understand when they are wrong. They do not understand that they need to change and be better. That should be the overall goal of life. But, people tend to forget these basic concepts and become lost in looking good instead of being good.
Evidence suggest that Japan wants to stay Japanese, but it is becoming clear that Japan is against refugees because of racism. According to Asian Journal of Political Science, Japan only allowed 11,000 immigrants to enter its border from the year 1975-2011 (Strausz, 2012). This amount is a very small number compared to the 6 billion people of the world. Japan is clearly racist towards other cultures and is trying to hide it by donating billions of dollars to help charity (NowThisWorld, 2017). Donating money to charity does not change the fact that the country is racist towards other people. The actions that Japan takes towards refugees makes it clear to people of Japan’s racist beliefs. The country is very prejudice and it is affecting a future with global citizenship. Some people may think that this is not a problem but it is. It is a problem for a future with a global society.
The world needs a global society that accepts refugees from other countries. A Global Citizenship Debate believes that the young adults of the future are not prepared for what is going to happen in the global world (Lough, 2014). The job market is going to get more and more connected to each other. These ancient ways of doing things will no longer be reliable in the future world. Jobs are changing. The way people will work in the future is also changing. The future of young adults need to be prepared of what is going to happen next. Trying to lessen the tension between not liking others will allow the world to work together more efficiently(Lough, 2014). Otherwise, we will be fighting each other and continue fighting each other. War is the result of people not willing to work together or share resources properly.
Japan refusing to accept other cultures is a sign of war to prevent a globalized society. Society needs people of different races to be in different countries. Everyone thinks they have all the answers. But, that is not the truth and some ways are just better. Unfortunately, most people have a hard time accepting another person’s methods even if those methods are more effective. In order for people to see that their way of doing things is wrong, people need to be opened to options seen by other people. People need to be exposed to other methods and ideas to become overall better. It is hard for people to move forward if they can not see why they fail or why they don’t know how to do something. People need to meet other types of people. It is something that must be experienced on a global scale for people to truly understand and benefit the rest of the world.
Japan and other Asian countries might have a good reason for denying people. Most people in the world are cruel. Some would say that some people are so bad that they do not deserve to live. Its a cruel world sometimes. The world can turn its back on you. Most people are selfish and care about no one. Most people are willing to do bad things to others if it pays. People treat others like crap because they do not make enough money. A man can work for a long period of time and still be treated like crap for something he didn’t do or for something his family has done. It is unfortunate sometimes in a man or woman’s life. Maybe the Asian countries are right about being selfish. Most people only care about themselves in any event. It would be better for one to be selfish.
Refusing to accept others because of appearance is sign of refusing to negate one’s emotions. Which is a sign that one can not change even if it is for the better. people tend to get angry and hate people because they fail to see stupid reasons. People need to put aside their emotions on appearance and work together. A video titled “Globalization:What is happening to us?” suggests that people are not getting along with each other because of inability to negate their emotions. Most people are use to things being done a certain way. Most people will get frustrated when things are done differently. Everybody wants things to remain the same, but some things need to change if people are going to move forward. In the year 2017, times are bad right now. People are refusing to do business with people because of appearances or race. This is affecting the progress of business and producing people who can not fully do their job because they do not understand why. Procedures are good to follow. But, procedures that produce better results are even better to follow. Sometimes, people need to change the way they do things to produce better business results. If people do not understand this concept, they will be forced to fail when they should succeed. Change is sometimes necessary to move forward. Death would be the cause to someone who doesn’t want to admit that change is necessary for survival. Global governance would some how make people see the cause of their failures. Emotions are the cause. Emotions confuse us and put us in denial. When we do not want to admit something that can help us or make us better. Global governance will allow people see past their appearance and beliefs to see the real problem.
Asian countries could be refusing to accept other cultures because of people saying racist things about other people’s cultures. People who are not Japanese mostly tend to say racist things. Racism is something people in Japan do not want to deal with. They don’t want somebody shamming them about the past and about what happened on the date of 1945. Japanese people are a very emotional based type of people (Unrested, 2016). They want to feel good all the time. Everybody wants to feel good. But, when people of other races are moving in and talking racist. They feel like they need to isolate themselves from those groups of people in order to get rid of racism completely. Japan and other Asian countries want to eliminate racism and they believe that by denying foreigners they can stop racism.
The reason Japan and other Asian countries are against accepting other groups of people. They think they can do everything by themselves and know everything. That is not the truth. The truth is that times are changing and people need to change with it. Pretty soon, people won’t need to depend on corporations for food. They will rely on their own little circles to provide them food for their bills. The world is becoming more one. People need to realize that one day there isn’t going to be “me.” There is just going to be groups of people who stick together. By me I would indicate a race or family of people who stick together. People are getting wiser and realizing that “me and family” has no value if it does not work together. People are going to start leaving families who do not help kids or leaving people who are long friends who do not help each other. The world is going to turn into a place where people are only going to help people who help them. It is not about where you are born. It is about what you are doing now. That was the point from the beginning of human civilization. We humans use to remember this but it has been forgotten.
Why does Japan refuse to accept people that is different? Japan was once a country who didn’t have guns. USA, helped Japan reached a higher level by bringing in guns. This has made Japan feel weak as a result of getting help from a foreigner. Japan personal believes that asking for help from foreigners is a sign of weakness. They don’t believe in accepting outside refugee dependents who have no place to go. Even Asian refugees not born in Japan would face the same cruelty as a foreigner (NowThisWorld, 2017). Japan strongly believes that outsiders are bad for the people of Japan. Asking for help is such a dishonor.
Japan seem to forget that “me” does not know everything. Japan needs to be more accepting of helping people of other cultures because there was a time when Japan needed someone’s help. We all need someone’s help from time to time. We can not do this by ourselves. We must work together. We all have our differences and beliefs. But, some of those believes are based on outward appearance and not based on human being principles. Japan and other Asian countries seem to suffer from accepting people of different races. Being human goes beyond skin color. Although we all want things to be remain different. Sometimes, it is what is killing the entire human race as a whole. People need to understand that being human goes beyond the outside appearance of someone. In order for the world to change. It needs to go beyond the outside of someone’s face. It needs to look at the inside of someone. Otherwise, we are all going to die because someone believes they are better because of looks instead of skill.
We must work together if we are going to become a planet with global citizenship. A planet that prioritizes helping people feed themselves and making resources and ways of doing things better for everyone living in it. In the world we live today, it is mostly selfish and does not care about the neighbor or the co-worker that gets fired. People think the best way is what their parents did. Unfortunately, parents don’t know everything and must realize when things need to change. The world sometimes put you into a position where things need to change. If people were to cast out their racism and realize that there are things that need to change because they are not working anymore. Allowing other groups to work in other countries will make people realize that their way of doing things has issues and needs to be updated.
Fear could be the reason why Asian countries are afraid of letting foreigners in their country. They do not want people to take their culture or resources. Now, being afraid of someone stealing your food out of your fridge instead of asking for it is scary. Asian countries are being defensive in refusing resources to other groups of people because Japan is afraid. Afraid of losing everything. Afraid of becoming a race that no longer exist. A race that was once Japanese and is now not Japanese. Japan wants to preserve its race. It doesn’t want to see its race dying. Japan is already facing a decline in population (Unrest, 2016). I personally believe that Japan’s main problem is disrespect at the work place. People start disrespecting each other and now nobody wants to work.
Disrespect in the work place may be the reason Japan is so racist towards other cultures (Unrest, 2016). Men in Japan are disrespected on a week to week basis. Maybe not every day. But, the men in Japan have a lot of pride in their job (Unrest, 2016). When a mid-high manager disrespects them they get so fed up and decide to become a shut-in (Unrest, 2016). Japanese men are very emotional and they believe that the goal in life is to be happy. They do not like being discouraged and maybe that is the reason why Japan and other countries want to remain isolated from everybody else (Al Jeezera English, 2012).
Disrespect in the workplace is no entire race’s fault. There are a lot of people who blame one race for what one person did. Some people are just evil and do business unfairly. It is not a race or culture thing. Some people are just living to hurt others. That is there only point in life. Not everybody lives their life like this. But, this is the way for some people. It is easy for us to blame everybody what a few people did. It doesn’t make it true. Even if a large group of people did something to someone else, it does not mean that a entire race is mean or acts a certain way. A lot people blame all because it is easy. I would admit that its easier to blame someone then to blame your self. Disrespect in the workplace is no one’s fault other then the person that commits the action. Sometimes, I want to blame the whole world but it wouldn’t be fair. It is fair to blame the person that is causing the harm.
In my personal opinion, in the 2015-2017 there has been a lot if principles that are being thrown out into the open and its causing people to choose the best one. Opinions are being thrown at people from left and right. People are confused. This is affecting acceptance of others. They are uncertain and makes them feel like they need to believe in something else in order to feel complete. A lot of ideas are being tested right now and a lot of “ways of life” are also being tested. Most people do not know what to think anymore. People are starting to realize that some principles are weak and need to be forgotten. People are looking for the best principles to give their life meaning or purpose. Otherwise, they are just waiting for something to happen and that’s not that much fun is it?
Asian countries are refusing to refugees because of deep racist beliefs mistreatment in the workplace. Racism is the cause as to why people fight each other today. People do not want to share and people put other groups of people over others. People do not see people as a human being. They are so caught up into names that they don’t see the big picture. They don’t see that the world needs to change and big corporations are not giving people a choice to do something simple anymore. We the poor people have to come together and figure out a way to make the rich people weaker. The rich people are taking too much. Nobody deserves to get paid more then needed. People are so caught up in “identity” that don’t see that they are hurting people. They do not see it. Maybe they don’t pretend to see it. People are not helping each other because of racism or greed. People want too much and think the world is not important. But, the world does matter. Does it not? The world feeds you and you must feed it in return. The world will blow itself up if it is not run the same way. If people keep acting selfish and appearance orientated like the countries of Japan, pretty soon the world is going to shift into a place where people are willing to watch people die even if those same people can not do anything about their situation because nobody would tell them anything. That is the future of this continued racism.
Asian countries need to realize what is going on in the world. The resources are not being distributed properly. People are hating each other because of appearances. People are disrespecting people in the workplace for no reason. People are denying people for the wrong reasons. People are so caught up in appearances that they forget that people are human beings. People are not denying people because they can’t afford it. They are denying people because they are the color or believe in something else. People need to be more accepting of opposing opinions. Some can pretend but how long can you pretend. Eventually, you will break and realize that you are stupid. You do not know everything. People need to realize that people can believe whatever they want to believe. Things do need to change and this refugee problem is an example of why the world needs to change. What is going to happen if Asian countries don’t accept other people? There is going to be war and many people will die. People will die because people don’t accept nonbelievers. Why does everybody need to believe and look the same for a system to work? It is very stupid and a sign of ignorance to the highest level. As long as someone is not harming others, people can believe whatever they want to believe. Hopefully, the people of the future will not see outside appearances and hate people who believe in something harmless to others.
